2 migrants killed as gunmen open fire on a vehicle in Nushki, Pakistan

Two Afghan migrants were killed and four others wounded on Friday when gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, local sources told Amu TV.

The attack took place in the Ahmed Wal area of Nushki district as the migrants traveled in a double-cab vehicle. Balochistan police confirmed the shooting occurred on the N-40 highway.

Armed men fired on the vehicle before fleeing the scene. The motive for the attack was not immediately known, and no group claimed responsibility.

The bodies of the two killed and the four wounded were taken to Mir Gul Khan Naseer Hospital for treatment and legal procedures.

Police have released no further details about the circumstances of the shooting or the identity of those responsible.
