2 Hamas terrorists killed as Israeli forces strike Gaza targets, Palestine

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Friday that its forces eliminated two Hamas terrorists: Hassan Mahmoud Siam, described as a commander in Hamas’ military wing, and Adham Sabhi Salim Ziara, an operative in the same wing.

According to the IDF statement, Siam infiltrated Israel during the October 7, 2023, massacre and was involved in the holding of hostages Amit Soussana, Keith and Aviva Siegel, and Dafna Elyakim in Gaza.

The military said the two men had recently advanced attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops while working to restore Hamas’ capabilities, actions it characterized as a systematic violation of the ceasefire. They were also involved in shooting attacks on IDF forces and planting explosive devices in the Yellow Line area.

The IDF stated that the pair were eliminated in order to remove the threat they posed.
