2 civilians killed as Russian drone and artillery hits Kherson, Ukraine

Ukraine's National Police reported that Russian forces attacked populated areas in Kherson Oblast using artillery, mortars, FPV-drones, and explosive drops, damaging over 20 civilian sites including homes, apartments, a clinic, and vehicles.

Two civilians were killed — a 24-year-old man in Kherson from an FPV-drone strike and a 66-year-old woman in Stanislav from prior shelling — while six others sustained injuries from drone munitions and blasts in various districts.

Police investigative teams documented the strikes as war crimes under Ukrainian law, responding to 189 reports and initiating 13 criminal proceedings in the de-occupied territory.
