1 child killed as a Russian drone hits a residential building in Kyiv, Ukraine

According to the National Police of Ukraine, an enemy UAV hit a 16-story apartment block around 08:00, striking between the 10th and 11th floors. The attack killed a 14-year-old boy. At least seven residents were wounded; the exact number of casualties was still being clarified at the time of the police report.

Investigative and operational teams, police bomb disposal specialists, State Emergency Service rescuers, and medical personnel are working at the scene. Police are documenting the incident as a war crime committed by the Russian Federation.

The Kyiv City Military Administration also confirmed the death of the teenager and extended condolences to his family.
