Tractor driver killed by a Russian drone strike in Vesnyane, Ukraine

A 50-year-old man was killed in Ukraine's Mykolaiv oblast following a Russian drone strike on the Vesniane community, according to an official update from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on X. The attack triggered multiple fires across the region, including a tractor that caught fire in a field where the strike occurred.

Emergency services responded to several other incidents in the area:

• Mykolaiv District: A fire broke out in an outbuilding and dry grass, but firefighters successfully contained the flames before they could reach residential or commercial structures.
• Bashtanka District: A residential house caught fire in the village of Dobre.
• Mykolaiv City: A passenger car caught fire on the premises of a private property.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that first responders have since extinguished all the fires caused by the drone strikes.
