4 civilians killed as Ukrainian drones hit Krasnodar Region, Russia

Last night, Russian military forces repelled a massive attack by enemy drones targeting Krasnodar Krai. The main strike hit Novorossiysk.

Tragically, four people were killed, including one child. Governor Veniamin Kondratyev expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the victims. An additional 29 people were injured in the city, three of them in serious condition. All are receiving medical care, with the option to transfer them to regional medical centers if needed.

The attack struck exclusively civilian targets. Damage was recorded to three private homes and five apartment buildings, as well as an Orthodox church and a kindergarten. Emergency and rescue services continue working at the sites.

Kondratyev instructed Novorossiysk Mayor Andrey Kravchenko to personally oversee the situation, quickly assess the damage, and provide comprehensive assistance and support to every affected family.

In Anapa, drone debris damaged three private homes and a kindergarten, with no casualties reported. Consequences of the attack are also being addressed in Krymsky and Temryuksky districts. The governor remains in constant contact with municipal leaders.

He thanked the military and air defense forces for protecting the region, as well as all emergency service personnel continuing their work.
