Man killed in Russia's Bryansk after drone-dropped explosive detonates

A man was killed overnight in Bryansk, Russia, after detonating an explosive-filled tube that authorities said had been dropped by a drone in the city’s Bezhitsky district.

Explosive ordnance specialists from the Defense Ministry were working at the scene, and access was closed on Yeletsky Lane and Komsomolskaya Street.

In Bryansk’s Sovetsky district, six people were preliminarily reported wounded in a separate drone attack. The attack damaged three apartment buildings on Romashina and Lyubeznogo streets and 11 vehicles.

Emergency and operational services responded at the sites. The Bryansk city administration said it was organizing repairs to affected apartments and processing documentation for residents.
