One killed in Ukraine strike on industrial zone in Russia's Lipetsk region

A security guard was killed in a Ukrainian strike on an industrial facility in the city of Yelets, located in Russia's Lipetsk region, regional governor Igor Artamonov said on Saturday.

The governor stated that a woman, identified as a paramedic, also sustained a thigh wound and was hospitalized. Employees at the affected enterprise were evacuated to a safe location following the attack on the industrial zone.

The strike occurred amid ongoing hostilities, with Artamonov urging residents to strictly adhere to safety protocols and follow instructions from emergency services during air raid alerts. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.
