3 men from Bodo executed by Boko Haram militants near Magam in Cameroon

On the morning of 25 September 2026, three men from the village of Bodo in Cameroon’s Far North Region were intercepted and executed by suspected Boko Haram fighters while travelling to Fotokol to attend a funeral, according to a report shared by the local information account Humanity Purpose.

Their bodies, with throats slit, along with their motorcycles, were discovered around 9 a.m. in the area near Magam. The men had been heading from Bodo toward Fotokol when they were stopped.

Bodo and Fotokol lie in a long-troubled border zone between Cameroon and Nigeria that has repeatedly suffered Boko Haram and related insurgent attacks over the past decade.
