5 civilians killed as a Russian drone strikes a commuter bus in Nikopol, Ukraine

A Russian drone struck a passenger bus in the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday, killing five people and injuring at least seven others, according to Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

The attack hit a scheduled passenger (reysovyi) bus. Five civilians died at the scene. The seven wounded are receiving medical care and are under doctors’ supervision.

The regional authorities reported the incident with the hashtag #russiaisaterroriststate, framing it as another deliberate attack on civilians.

Nikopol district, located near the front line and the occupied areas around the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, has faced frequent Russian artillery, drone, and aerial attacks throughout the war.
