2 people killed in Russia as drone strikes Bryansk private house
Two people were killed in Russia's Bryansk region after a Ukrainian drone struck a private residence in the settlement of Klimovo, Governor Yegor Kovalchuk reported on Friday. The victims were identified as a 30-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man.
According to Kovalchuk's statement on Telegram, the attack also left five civilians wounded, including four women and one man. The governor expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and confirmed that assistance would be provided to those affected.
The incident occurred amid ongoing cross-border drone activity in the Bryansk region, which has seen repeated strikes on civilian infrastructure in recent days. Earlier reports from the governor's channel also documented a separate drone attack in the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk, where explosive devices were dropped near schools and kindergartens, prompting emergency demining operations.
