One killed in Ukrainian drone attacks on Russia's Belgorod region

A civilian man was killed in Russia's Belgorod Region on Saturday as Ukrainian drone attacks struck multiple districts, according to the regional operational headquarters. The fatality occurred in the village of Zamostye, Grayvoronsky District, where an FPV drone struck the area.

The attacks also caused damage and injuries across the region. In Blizhnyaya Igumenka, Belgorod District, a woman was wounded by debris from a downed drone and was hospitalized with a non-penetrating wound to the forehead. In Shebekino, a man suffered acoustic trauma when a drone struck a passenger car, and a private home and vehicle were damaged in separate incidents.

Regional authorities reported that air defense units and other forces suppressed 223 drones over the past 24 hours, while 17 artillery and rocket attacks and 22 drone-dropped explosive devices were recorded.
