4 killed as families clash over land ownership in Nangarhar, Afghanistan
Four people were killed and three others injured in a clash between two families over land ownership in Chaparhar district of eastern Nangarhar province, police said on Saturday.
According to a statement from the Nangarhar police headquarters, the incident took place this morning in Zagho village of Chaparhar district.
Security forces arrived at the scene soon after, transferred the injured to hospital, and arrested two suspects. An investigation is underway, and the detainees will be handed over to judicial authorities after preliminary inquiries.
