4 killed in drone attacks on Khartoum airport and eastern districts in Sudan
Four people were killed on Monday morning when drones belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacked Sudan's capital, Khartoum, targeting Khartoum Airport and other facilities before striking areas in the east of the city, Dabanga Radio reported.
Military sources said the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) intercepted and shot down two drones seen flying over the airport in video footage circulated on social media. The falling aircraft killed three children, including two brothers, and one man in two separate locations east of the airport and in the Nasser extension.
The SAF and RSF continue to exchange drone attacks that have caused civilian deaths, amid growing international calls to expand the arms embargo to cover all of Sudan rather than Darfur alone.
