Haiti gang offensive kills at least 3 in Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite

At least three people were killed in an armed gang offensive in Petite-Rivière de l'Artibonite, Haiti, during the night of Monday, October 19, 2026, according to Métropole Haïti.

The attackers, members of the "Kokorat San Ras" gang, entered the town center and occupied several strategic positions. Several members of self-defense groups were also wounded by gunfire during the assault.
