2 killed after Houthi rebel forces launched attacks across Taiz in Yemen
Yemen's Interior Ministry said a civilian and a young girl were killed on Wednesday in artillery and missile shelling, as well as sniper fire, by Houthi militias across several areas of Taiz province. Five other people were injured in the attacks, including children, women, and elderly individuals, according to the ministry's statement.
The ministry blamed the Iran-backed Houthi militias for the shelling and sniper fire that targeted multiple locations in the southwestern province. The report did not specify the exact districts affected by the attacks.
