One man killed in Russian strike on Chernihiv enterprise in Ukraine

A Russian attack on the city of Chernihiv on Friday afternoon killed one man and wounded 25 other people, according to the National Police of Ukraine.

The strikes targeted an enterprise in the city, the police said in a statement published at 16:28 local time. Investigative teams from the Chernihiv district police department and emergency services were working at the scene.

Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack and collecting evidence of what they described as a Russian war crime. The incident will be entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the police said.
