2 men killed after Iztapalapa targeted shooting attack in Mexico City

Two men were killed and a third person was injured in a shooting in Mexico City's Iztapalapa borough on Thursday, according to the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC). The attack occurred on Calzada Ermita in the Ampliación Ricardo Flores Magón neighborhood, where officers found three people with visible blood stains.

Paramedics pronounced two of the victims dead at the scene and transported the third to a hospital for medical attention. The suspects fled on a motorcycle, but monitoring operators from the C2 Oriente command center tracked them, leading to their arrest on Calle Coruña in the Santa Anita neighborhood of Iztacalco borough.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or the two detained suspects.
