One man killed in Guatemala armed attack in Jardines de la Asunción neighborhood

A man of approximately 25 years old was killed and two others were injured in an armed attack in the Jardines de la Asunción neighborhood, zone 5 of Guatemala City, according to Prensa Libre. The attack occurred at 41st Avenue and 10th Street.

Municipal Firefighters responded to the scene and confirmed the death of one victim. Paramedics provided prehospital care to the two wounded individuals, who were taken to healthcare centers.

Authorities are at the scene conducting procedures and investigating the circumstances of the attack.
