Sonett's Scouring Powder is super versatile. Use it in the bathroom, kitchen, and wherever you need gentle removal of dirt and stains.

It cleans washbasins, toilets and bathtubs and effortlessly removes burnt-on residues from cookware and greasy deposits from stoves and baking ovens, without scratching.

Thanks to the gentle action of pumice, it is even suitable for sensitive glass ceramic cooking wares and very effective for cleaning garden furniture and sooty fireplace and woodstove glass viewing panels.

To Use: Apply the powder and clean with a damp sponge, brush or cloth. Very economical.

Ingredients and Biodegradability: The main ingredients of this cleaning agent are stone meal and soil rich in silicates. These are immediately reintegrated into nature, and there is absolutely no need for them to be degraded. Sodium carbonate being a mineral substance does not need any further degradation either. Soap made from vegetable oils has one outstanding feature compared to all the other active washing substances, namely that, right after its use, it reacts chemically with the limescale always present in waste water, resulting in calcium soap, thus neutralising its surfactant effect on aquatic organisms (primary degradation). The calcium soap is then, by microorganisms, 100% degraded into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Soap is classified as being readily biodegradable according to OECD guidelines.

About Sonett: Sonett is one of the pioneers of ecological laundry detergents and cleaners. All of our raw materials are completely biodegradable and free of synthetic fragrances, dyestuffs and preservatives, they are without any enzymes and petrochemical surfactants, contain no bleaching agents, and neither genetic engineering nor nanotechnology has been used. The oils used for our soaps and all of our essential oils originate 100% from certified organic cultivation.
