U.S. and Israel Strike Iran, Kill Khamenei in Operation Epic Fury

The United States and Israel launched massive airstrikes under Operation Epic Fury, killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, hitting nuclear sites, IRGC centers, and leadership compounds in Tehran, Isfahan, and Parchin. President Trump described the action as vital to halt Iran's nuclear push and missile threats after failed diplomacy, with U.S. forces firing Tomahawks and HIMARS while Israel sent 200 jets with 1,200 bombs. Iran confirmed Khamenei's death, formed an interim council, retaliated with missiles killing civilians in Israel and striking U.S. bases and Gulf sites, and closed the Strait of Hormuz amid over 200 reported deaths including civilians.
